Leather sector: Tanzania has a large livestock population (17.7 million cattle, 12.5 million goats and 3.5 million sheep) and produces about 2.6 million pieces of raw hides and skins annually. A large portion is exported raw and only 10 percent is processed. Investment opportunities in the leather sector include establishment of modern tanneries and leather finishing production units.

The Tanzanian government focuses on youth development, a country with one of the fastest growing youth populations has an estimated 61 percent of the population is under the age of 35, making up a clear majority. With a youth unemployment rate of 4.6 percent as at 2021 and the total number of students enrolled in secondary education below 50%, and for those in school, Tanzania has a low completion or dropout rate in secondary schools at 11.3%.
Clearly poor sports administrations, organization, poorly formulated sports policies and most significantly a lack of adequate sports facilities and infrastructures has greatly undermined the progress and development of sports in Tanzania despite the abundance of youthful talents and potentials in the country.
In the City of RA, we will build a 50 Acres state of the Art and one of the biggest sports complex in Africa to provide opportunities for under privileged youths to identify, develop and deploy their potentials in sports, access economic development, learn valuable life skills, become financially empowered, have an encouraging environment to grow physically and professionally and help achieve the UN Millennium Development Goals for Sports in Africa.
